Tinted Float Glass

Tinted Float Glass

Tinted Float Glass is a type of glass which has good solar control properties to reduce excess heat inflow and glare. There are two varieties of Tinted Float Glass, Coolpane Dark Grey. The body tint is manufactured by adding minute amounts of iron, nickel, cobalt, selenium, etc. into the glass composition.

1.    Solar Control - compared  to Clear Float Glass, Tinted Float Glass absorbs a higher level of solar radiation energy, thereby reducing heat
transmittance and cutting down on the cooling load.
2.    Glare Reduction - It softens the high contrast brightness of sunlight and interior, therefore reduces excess glare.
3.    Aesthetic Design - It offers individuality and elegance to any building.
4.    Ensures Privacy - During the daytime, the interior tends to be darker than the exterior, and thus the absorption of visible light rays
makes it difficult to see in, protecting the privacy of those inside. But, from the inside, it is possible to see the outside clearly.

1.    External use of windows, doors, shopfronts and curtain walls in offices, houses, shops, high-rise buildings, etc.
2.    Interior glass screens, partitions, balustrades, etc.
3.    Shop display decorations, lighting, etc.
4.    Furniture, table-tops, etc.
